Good news! Dingwei Equipment won the bid for a new lithium battery recycling project

Recently, our company successfully won two bids in the lithium battery recycling project of a well-known company in the domestic new energy field.

 


Project Introduction

1. Sodium sulfate solution MVR

 

 


Process Introduction:

The solution of sodium sulfate contained in the raw material tank is first transported to the condensate preheater for preheating before entering the evaporation system. Then, it is preheated to the evaporation temperature by the non condensable gas preheater before entering the evaporator in the MVR evaporator system for evaporation and concentration. The concentrated liquid enters the thickener, which uses the level difference to overflow the supernatant to the mother liquor tank. The thick slurry inside the thickener is transported to the centrifuge for centrifugal separation. The solid obtained from centrifugal separation is used as a crystalline salt. After stirring and centrifugation, it is dried in the drying section. The mother liquor separated by centrifugation is sent to the mother liquor tank and returned to the evaporator through the mother liquor pump.

Product features:

(1) This device can reuse the secondary steam energy generated by itself, saving over 60% -80% of energy and over 95% of cooling water compared to traditional evaporators. It has high thermal efficiency, low energy consumption, and low operating costs;

2. Battery grade lithium carbonate precipitation lithium carbonization pyrolysis

 

 


Process Introduction

The carbonization pyrolysis purification process involves mixing industrial grade lithium carbonate with a certain amount of deionized water and pyrolysis mother liquor to form a slurry, and then introducing high-purity CO2 gas during the stirring process to transform slightly soluble LiCO3 into highly soluble LiHCO3, which is then filtered to remove impurities. The carbonized liquid after carbonization is filtered through a filter, defluorinated by resin, and impurities such as boron, calcium, and magnesium are removed before entering the pyrolysis tower. The pyrolysis tower continues to operate, and the temperature rise and constant temperature reaction decomposition are completed, followed by centrifugal heat rejection. Then, drying, airflow crushing, demagnetization, packaging and other processes are carried out to produce battery grade high-purity lithium carbonate.

Product features:

(1) The carbonization unit of the device adopts a multi-stage series connection method, and the lithium carbonate slurry and CO2 gas are operated in reverse flow to convert lithium carbonate into lithium bicarbonate, avoiding the loss of lithium carbonate with the filter residue;

(2) Carbon dioxide recovery ports and pipelines are installed on the carbonization tower of the carbonization unit, the carbonization discharge tank of the filtration unit, and the pyrolysis tower of the pyrolysis unit, so that the CO2 in the device can be reused, with a utilization rate of up to 90%, greatly reducing production costs;

(3) The thermal decomposition of this system uses low-pressure steam to indirectly heat the materials, reducing the heat transfer temperature difference between the heating steam and the materials, and reducing scaling on the heat exchange surface;

(4) The decomposition system is equipped with an external heating heat exchanger, which has a long scarring cycle, anti carbonization, and convenient cleaning;

(5) This process and device solve the problem of excessive impurity content caused by the eutectic of lithium sulfate and sodium sulfate, and can make the purity of lithium carbonate products reach over 99.95%, meeting the requirements of battery grade high-purity lithium carbonate;

(6) The main advantages of this device are low cost, high reaction efficiency, strong controllability of product quality, unaffected by atmospheric temperature, humidity, and reaction temperature fluctuations, high degree of intelligence, low investment, and low failure rate.
